How now, brown cow!

Did you think you had come to Florence just for the sights and the shopping? Sure, you can still do all that and more besides, but don’t be surprised if you stumble over a few cows here and there...Cow parade has hit Florence with a loud moooh and you can find single cows and herds grazing in almost all the squares in Florence. Certainly they are nothing like the cows you left at home and they don’t produce any milk (they are however sponsored by Mukkilatte), but they do have a character of their own! Colourful, magical and utterly original, they have been transformed by artists into art cows with a difference. Try walking round the town and seeing how many you can find and, why not, send us a photo of your favourite cow! Don’t forget to make your contribution to the fund for the Meyer Children’s Hospital either...please!
