dangerous cookingVisit At the Table and Taste

Italian style goes Gastronomic
[Susan Glasspool]

dangerous cookingThis is not the first time that we suggest you try some of the local gastronomic products and take them home with you, but our advice is confirmed by the many fairs being held this spring connected with food, cooking, the table and gastronomic delicacies. It is a sure sign of the times and shows that Italy is at last doing its best to show the world its superiority in anything culinary!

Too late to visit Madia in February, you are still in time to make the most of the ...At the table - Salon of fine Italian flavours event, at the Fortezza da Basso, or Taste, at the Leopolda Station. Both are well worth a visit if you want to explore the natural and creative Italian cuisine and products. Here you can find sublime wines and oils, flour, breads and pasta, rice, vegetables dried or preserved in oil, salted or bottled products and dressed meats, in other words the fruits of the earth, all lovingly grown and prepared as in the past, though of course in full respect of the EEC regulations. Transfer all these delights to the table and you can enjoy an infinite number of new and delicious dishes.

N.B.: Oleum in Via Sant’Egidio 22r and Divine Golosità in Via Reginaldo Giuliani 132r both offer a vast assortment of gastronomic specialities and can also organise shipping them home for you. What more can you ask?

...At the Table
