Nothing like the factory made...
Drool over real chocolate
[
Susan Glasspool]

If you like chocolate you can at last go mad and gorge on it if you visit the great Chocolate Fair at
Saschall, the largest in Italy! It is dedicated exclusively to quality confectioners’ chocolate, which is anyway what Italian chocolate making is all about, for here people always prefer handmade, freshly made products to industrialised factory stuff...
Strenuous efforts have been made in Italy to preserve and celebrate chocolate making as an art form ever since the European Union authorized vegetable fat as a substitute for cocoa butter in chocolate making - and the traditional Italian chocolate is always handmade pure cocoa chocolate.
Therefore the huge Saschall tent will host some of Tuscany’s and Italy’s leading master chocolate makers to represent the country’s ancient traditions in handmade chocolate and show their best blends, all handmade with genuine ingredients and in strict compliance with proven traditional methods. The heavenly delights of handmade chocolate, dark, bittersweet and divine, in the form of creams, pralines, chocolate drinks and cocktails, candies, cakes and icecream, to name but a few, can be enjoyed from Friday January 20th to Sunday January 29th. This event, for the chocolate lover, can only be described as pure bliss!
The Fair offers tastings, historic and cultural descriptions, games, performances and music. So, as its organisers declaim, allow yourself to be seduced by the sweetness of chocolate!
