A riot of laughs for all lovers of Shakespeare
All Shakespeare All together
[
Susan Glasspool]

Shakespeare too much for you or just plain boring? Some people have never been able to appreciate the English playwrite (often thanks to school!), others instead adore him. After its success last year, the Shakespeare in Florence company is again presenting performances "with a difference", and in English, based on plays by William Shakespeare as part of the Florence Summer 2005 events.
The title this year is The Complete Works of
William Shakespeare (Abridged) by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield and it will be performed under the direction of Elizabeth Dale at the Teatro Le Laudi in cooperation with and on the invitation of the City Council of Florence.
The Complete Works of William Shakespeare are in fact a condensed version of all 37 of Shakespeare's plays (not an easy task!) and the performance lasts only 97 minutes!
There will be 14 shows through September and October and they are really an irreverent, fast-paced romp through the Bard’s plays. According to critics the performances are hilariously funny and, as a good laugh does us all good, well worth going to see. At the same time they are considered an excellent way of introducing Shakespeare to the innocent.
We think you will probably enjoy the show and, after all, you will rarely get the chance to see all Shakespeare’s plays performed in one showing ever again!
