Florence APT has created FIRENZE4YOU, a special promotional incentive for tourists visiting Florence and its territory.Attention is focused above all on tourism involving families with children (although naturally the promotion does not exclude individual tourists, or those without children anyway), with a view to promoting at its best a sojourn in Florence and its area, and to extending the period of stay in the city itself. These are elements which we believe can improve the conception of Florence in terms of welcome services and consequently the quality and the length of the tourists’ stay in our territory.
The promotion
With FIRENZE4YOU, up to December 31st 2005, it will be possible to stay for four nights at the price of three in all the hotels taking part in the initiative in Florence and its province. Children up to the age of 12 can stay free of charge in their parents’ bedroom for all four days of the offer.
And that’s not the end of it: in the hotels the visitors will find a special card which entitles them to discounts and offers, and a list of restaurants taking part in the promotion which offer special menus at discount prices for the entire family, with reductions of up to 50% on children’s meals!
Visitors presenting this card will also be entitled to special discounts when visiting the museums of Santa Maria Novella and Santa Maria del Carmine, comprising the Brancacci Chapel, and when taking part in the Emozioni da Museo workshops in Palazzo Vecchio.

Booking conditions
The promotion is restricted to independent tourists who book their sojourn by calling the hotel directly and making explicit reference to the FIRENZE4YOU promotion.
The offer is valid from May 15th to December 31st 2005 and is subject to the availability of rooms in the individual hotels. The offer comprises 4 overnight stays at the price of 3, at the rates currently charged by the individual hotels, The overnight stay is completely free for children under the age of 12 sleeping in their parents’ bedroom.
