Maria CallasThe two exhibitions that accompany and complete the Festival are:

Maria Callas
Royal Post Office, Uffizi Gallery
Stage jewellery by Swarowski, set and costume designs from the Historic Archives of the Maggio. Testimonials from operas held in Florence that brought Maria Callas her first successes and fame. The costume she wore for Medea in 1952 will also be on display for the first time, kindlo loaned by the Cerratelli Foundation. From April 30th.

Moreover the first performance of the Tosca, opening the Maggio, will be dedicated to Renata Tebaldi, one of the greatest opera singers of all time, who also superbly interpreteed the part of the heroine in this particular opera.
