I like to call cool a new generation of stylish restaurants have recently opened in FlorenceBy definition, cool can stand for unruffled elegance. We often use the term to describe an object, a place or an experience. When we connect with something emotionally an visually, we say: it’s cool. And that’t exactly what the design-restaurants concept is all about-a design aestethic that is both uncomplicated and stylish, coupled with a unique experience generated by alternative spaces and foods that traditional restaurants cannot offer.
These new kinds of restaurants and wine bars offer modern cuisine in luxurious surroundings: the ultimate combination of brasserie, restaurant, cocktail lounge bar and private rooms.
Sleek and chic contemporary design and inventive dishes are the main ingredients.

If you want to eat overlooking the Duomo in a stylish atmosphere, B.Gallo is your restaurant. Situated in Piazza Del Duomo n.1 (tel. 055 219251) and open every day, it offers typical Tuscan cuisine, pizza and other specialities.
You can receive excellent service in the air-conditioned dining rooms or
the outdoor pergola right opposite Florence Cathedral. A beautiful indoor

tel. 055 281015), a cult of the Florentine stlylish night. Open only for dinner, provides fresh fish and typical meats or Pizzas for all tastes. The original interior design is created with care and the old fashioned atmosphere is similar to a Parisien cafč.
When you arrive in Piazza del Mercato, you can't miss the scent of the "stufato"! And if you look upwards at the house or "casina", you wil immediately notice this beautiful Tuscan style restaurant.
The name is ZŕZŕ (Piazza del Mercato Centrale 26/27r, tel. 055 215411), where you eat like a king! This place, is a splash of bohemian glamour rooted in classic tuscan cuisine.
First coursea include farro (spelt) or pasta and Chick-peas. The food is really good, served well and with ease, with main courses of stracotto, lamb, cacciucco (fish stew). If all of this does not suit your taste no worry, they'll grill some beef (you can eat one of the best bistecca alla fiorentina in Florence!) At the end of your dinner dont’ miss little Vin Santo and Cantuccini and an excellent panna cotta!

If you like the opposite bank of the Arno, the ideal choice for a romantic dinner beside the Ponte Vecchio, is the Golden View Open Bar (Via de’ Bardi, 58r - 64r tel. 055 214502).
Wine Bar, pizzeria and restaurant, it not only offers a stunning view of the Ponte Vecchio, but is also an excellent place for very reasonably priced light lunch or tasty snack Tuscan style. It boasts an impressive list of wines and an astounding range of Pizzas. Always Open!
In the other side of the river, another beautiful and charming winebar and restaurant is Beccofino ( Piazza Scarlatti 1r ) It is an airy, modern space where italian design and modern cuisine get married. We recommend the astonishing view from the outdoor terrace overlooking the River. Chef creates a delightful progression of flavors. Wines are excellent and can be ordered both by the glass and by the bottle.
