Another international event is the World Roller Cup Competition at the Palazzetto dello Sport on December 7th. Sixteen of the world’s best artistic roller skaters will participate, including four world champions and twelve other athletes chosen by the Organizing Comittee. Never heard of Championship Artistic Rollerskating before? Think of Olypmic ice skating on wheels. This event has the added attraction that one section offers a glimpse of all of the atheletes participating in just an hour and a half so you don’t have to sit around while juries decide the skater’s fates, which could potentially take all day. The Palazzetto dello Sport is next to the Stadium and you can easily get there by taking the 17 bus.
