Relatives, friends, colleagues, children: whatever your budget and taste, at this craft show you will certainly be able to find the perfect and - why not! - unusual gift for everyone.From 5th to 8th December, for the sixth year running (but the spring version of the same market has been held for 77 years already) Marta will transform the Fortezza da Basso - Florence’s main trade fair quarters, conveniently located hardly ten minutes’ walk from the Duomo - into an elegant Christmas showcase with festive lights, scents and atmosphere: a unique opportunity to enjoy the festive spirit of Christmas spread over no fewer than twenty thousand square meters of creativity, imagination
and elegance.
Dedicated entirely to the marvels of quality artistic crafts, Marta offers countless ideas for furnishing and decorating the home as well as giftware ranging from jewelry to scented candles, clothing and fashion accessories, perfumes and exotic essences, toiletries and stationery, novelty kitchenware and design upholstery, flowers and organic food as well as an ever surprising assortment of toys and games.
The Italian exhibitors, carefully selected from amongst the top made in Italy giftware producers, will be joined by a number of international colleagues to display their suggestions for Christmas presents: thousands and thousands of unique and quality items in all sorts of styles, colors and combinations.
The theme of this year’s display is an imaginary playhouse divided into different rooms - hall, dining room, living room, nursery, kitchen, guestroom, bathroom - each fully furnished and adorned with the latest and fanciest Christmas novelties.
Workshops, shows, entertainment and games, alongside food and drink dainties, make of Marta ‘the feast that opens the festive season’.
